One of the top sporting events in Baltimore for 2011 will be seeing the Baltimore Ravens start out their football season in style. Football fans can see the Baltimore Ravens take on their opponents at the M&t Bank Stadium. The stadium has a seating capacity to fit over 70 thousand fans so there is plenty of room for locals and visitors alike.

Another Baltimore favorite is the Terrapins. Playing at the Byrd Stadium and Comcast Center, fans can see the Terrapins take on teams such as the Boston College Eagles and the Miami Hurricanes.

In addition to being one of the best times of the year to visit Baltimore, spring also brings about baseball. The Baltimore Orioles play in the Camden Yards where they face off against some of the best teams in the league. Baseball fans will enjoy all the extras in Camden Yards and are even welcome to take a tour of the ballpark to see what it feels like to be in the middle of all the excitement including in the dugout! For a small price during games, fan even have the opportunity to have a special message displayed on the scoreboard.
